Skidmore's leather cream is my favorite product used to restore and clean and protect leather products, giving them a pleasant smell, supple texture and resistance to moisture.
Skidmore's products are made in small batches in Bellingham, WA using beeswax and other natural oils. Their leather cream contains no animal products, silicones or driers.
Use sparingly with the included scrap of sheepskin or soft cloth, allow it to soak in and then wipe off any excess cream.
Use it to clean or bring new life to any of my tooled leather products, saddles, tack, boots, and even leather furniture. Not intended for use on sueded leathers.
Fellow leather workers, I use this cream in place of olive oil after tooled sections have been dried and painted/stained. It imparts a mellow honey color to skirting leather and the beeswax in the cream acts as a mild resist when antiquing.
Leather is a tough material, but it needs to be cared for. Protect your investment with Skidmore's Leather Cream.
