It can only be accomplished using the best cuts of the hide and is more difficult to draw and carve than the smooth side. It can be more difficult to keep clean but therein lies the beauty of rough-out. The natural colors of the leather will only improve with age, as it develops its own unique patina with use and care.
This beauty is lined in velvet and measures 6.5” across and 2.5” deep. It holds a cell phone (depending on the size) and simple wallet. The double-headed zipper allows you to open it a crack to just slip your phone in or all the way to view the entire contents of your bag. Buttery-soft deerskin fringe hangs from the zipper and makes opening your purse a stylish breeze.
The detachable wrist strap is also fully-carved and measures 1.5" wide and 17.5" long.
